Natural Cough Suppressant

Treat Yourself Naturally!


1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper 1 Tsp Ginger Powder 4 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 8 Tbsp Water 4 Tbsp Honey

This makes enough for 10 Adult doses.

Dissolve cayenne and ginger in cider vinegar and water. Add honey and shake well.

Take 1 Tablespoon as needed for cough. This may be taken as often as needed.

Note: This is potent and watery syrup. It also doesn’t dissolve perfectly.

Always shake well before using.

If you make this in small batches as the recipe is written, there is no need to refrigerate.

Small batches retain freshness.

If you prefer, you may make larger batches and refrigerate.

It keeps as long as you need it.


This remedy and dosage are for adults. 1/2 dose for children.

Honey should NEVER be given in any form to children under the age of 2, due to the risk of choking. This remedy should never, ever be given to an infant.
